Projects are set up to achieve benefits. The senior executive accountable for the achievement of those benefits will make decisions on directing the future path for the project. However, nothing planned for the future is certain and risk is inherent in every decision made, at every level in the project team. What techniques help the decision maker focus on its real role with regards to risk management and what part can the project team members take in supporting this?

Speaker Biography 

As well as being a practicing programme manager, Robert is the author of the UK's best selling project book "The Project Workout". He experience in numerous industrial sectors including banking, manufacturing, construction, health and telecommunications. He has lived and worked in countries as diverse as Kenya, Mauritius, Yemen, Senegal and Sudan, as well as in Washington DC for the World Bank. Robert is a Master of Business Administration, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Engineer.
