The human species' amazing ability to adapt is probably only surpassed by its initial instinct to resist it. However it is possible & critical to harness hearts and minds to ensure change not only hits the right targets but also delivers lasting results.
Key issues often overlooked include deciding what actually needs changing, remembering that ‘common sense' can look quite different across an organisation!
Using his 20 years of hands-on experience, Philip will explore how to get a critical mass of people driving positive change, and by-pass the resistance which is so often encountered.
Speaker Biography
Philip evolved his work/style from different ‘events' rather than a planned career. 10 years as a film/TV actor; trained and delivered large personal development seminars; moved into change management, co-founding his own company in 1990.
A genuine innovator in the implementation of change, his achievements include new management techniques to measure the effectiveness of change and its direction, and processes that lock-in valuable progress.
Along the way Philip has worked with such diverse influences as the founders of ‘Business Process Re-engineering' and John Grinder, co-founder of NLP. He has both created and led change initiatives for a wide variety of major businesses including Barclays, Microsoft, Pfizer (Viagra project), Omnicom Media. Interests; mountain running, rowing, travel, fatherhood.
