Project management: the engine of the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care turnaround
Tuesday 24th April 2007, 11.15 - 11.55
Project management does not need to be complex or complicated to offer value to an organisation's success. In fact, keeping it simple allows companies to develop a project management competency that, over time, becomes part of the organizational culture. Lisa DiTullio of Harvard Pilgrim shares her organisation's story, which focuses on the technical aspect of project management through a case study of project management evolution, in its simplest form. The story itself is compelling and a true account of project management implementation in a real setting, with real results.
Who should attend: Business leaders who are looking for ways to improve work completion metrics; leaders of project management offices who are lacking senior executive endorsement will hear how to get top down buy-in.
