Wednesday 25th April 2007 - 11.10am - 12.40pm
Outlining what it means to belong to and lead a high performing team, and the skills, products and tools to get there? Shifting team members from passivity, or “every beast for himself”, into full-blooded involvement; helping leaders resist the tendency to give up on their team and become “Lone Rangers”.
Not for the fainthearted this session incorporates striking video footage of animal teams in action, illustrating powerful analogies between animal and human behaviour. You will be taken to a setting where effective leadership and teamwork means the difference between life, death and species survival.
These lessons are derived from our South African Conservation company and t

Change Management
The Change Management series helps businesses excel at managing change. This series provides a common framework for porfolio and project management with workshops that engage employees at all levels. Workshops are complimented by our ready-to-use guidebooks and templates offering practical action oriented tips, worked examples, tools and key documents. All this underpinned by comprehensive consultancy support.
A genuine fusion of the people and technical aspects of selecting, prioritising and delivering projects and programmes of change, which helps people to commit to changes, and ensures that changes are not only successfully implemented but - just as important - are sustainable once a programme or project is completed.
At the heart of this series is the Project-Change Frame®. It is easy to select from and use according to the size and complexity of a project, resulting in a practical, lively and insightful experience without being overly prescriptive and without the bureaucracy that haunts many methodologies.

High Performance Team Working
Teams Don’t Just Happen - You achieve the task through the team, so take care of the team, so that they can take care of the task. So many teams are a team in name only. With the complexity of matrix, virtual and cross-functional teamwork, the leader is often left struggling with members who - at best - are passive bystanders.
The High Performance Team series offers businesses an opportunity to fundamentally address their leadership effectiveness and team working capabilities. It introduces a common language and approach to team formation, development and closure; shifting team membership from passivity, or “every beast for himself”, into full-blooded involvement; helping team leaders resist the tendency to give up on their team and become “Lone Rangers”.

Team and Leadership Diagnostics
These web based diagnostics provide the Leader and team with valid data on how they are performing. A baseline to progress from, identifying strengths and highlighting barriers to be overcome. This data results in focused support and promotes direct and authentic conversations about the things that matter.

High Performance Teamworking in Africa
Africa is a land of extremes, white hot days and icy black nights, mighty lions and slender meerkat, a land of plenty and a land of dearth. The stark reality of the bush veldt necessitates high performance team work.
Prides of lion, packs of African Wild Dog and herds of elephant can only survive by working together; their highly evolved team skills have made the difference between life, death and species survival.
It is from these supreme team workers that we discover what it takes to move from a team in name only to a dynamic high performance team.
These In Africa experiences take executives and teams back to where effective teamwork makes the difference between life, death and species survival. Intense development combined with game drives and walks in a malaria free game reserve challenges teams and leaders to confront and then strengthen their own effectiveness and commitment.

Personal Skills
This series of workshops has been designed to help people tackle challenging situations and to recognise and grasp opportunities that come their way.
A key theme throughout this series is 'how to manage you', it is about how to turn aptitude into a honed skill and having the courage and judgement to do the 'right things' not just do 'things right'.
Learning how to utilise collaboration, feedback and the sharing of expertise and ideas is fundamental to this experience.
